Concealed Weapons Permit 

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office processes CCW applications in a timely manner. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office averages less than 80 days on the completion of the CCW application. The slowest part of the CCW process is the return of the Federal background check. It is a requirement for the CCW process and takes the most amount of time to be returned. CCW Permit Fees are as follows: Initial Permit Fee is $99.00, Renewals are $40.00. Any renewal occurring after 364 days of expiration will require the same process as a new CCW application.
